Ross McDouall
Ross is a London-based drummer, percussionist, composer, workshop leader and teacher, and Artistic Director of Drum Works. Ross has toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, Asia, South America and the US performing and collaborating with musicians, dancers and artists. As a workshop leader Ross has worked for The London Symphony Orchestra, Aldeburgh Young Musicians, the Prince Claus Conservatoire in the Netherlands, Peabody Institute in Baltimore and the Southbank Centre to name a few. Ross’s live performances have taken him all over the world and to some of the biggest music festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, the Big Chill, Wilderness and many more. He has toured with and supported the likes of Yassin Bey AKA Mos Def, Slum Village and Young Blood Brass Band. Ross is currently performing and writing with UK Hip Hop group, Lazy Habits, are just about to release their third studio album and is planning tours of Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan in 2021. Ross is a Graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama’s Leadership Masters program.
